epcshieldThe purpose of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, New York (Council) shall be to provide a means whereby members, duly qualified on the basis of experience and interest, can discuss mutual problems arising in their respective fields of work, and can become informed of developments and ideas in the areas of estate planning and administration, to the end that they, cooperatively, may better serve the interests of their customers and clients.

Obituary for Morton L. Bittker

Morton L. Bittker

Brighton - September 29, 2019 at age 83. Predeceased by his parents, Irving & Hortense Bittker; brothers David & Richard Bittker. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Maxine; devoted daughter, Holly (Aharon "Roni") Boker; adored grandchildren, Shai Y., Nadav M. & Hadar G. Boker; nieces & nephews, Amy (Terry) Baker, Jim (Lori) Bittker, Faye (Arie) Bittker Rudnik, Melissa Bittker & Beth Shuttleworth.

Mort received his undergraduate degree from the U of R and his law degree from Cornell. After serving in the US Army Reserves, he began practicing law in 1961 in Rochester, first at Easton, Wagner & Bittker and more recently at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP.

Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.) Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY from 3-5 & 7-9 PM & THURSDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at 340 Avalon Drive. Donations may be made to Temple B'rith Kodesh or the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Mort's memory.
